A note on headshots...

We all know the drill.

"Headshots are an actor's most valuable marketing tool."

This is precisely why so many actors dread having their headshot taken - because there’s often a huge amount of pressure surrounding your session and the resulting photos. Photos which are taken in what can feel like the most unnatural of circumstances for an actor.

[Photo shoot = actor + photographer + camera]

No character. No hiding.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

To get the best headshots, all you need to do is show up and allow your photographer to do the work.

Your headshot photographer should be your biggest cheerleader.

A good headshot photographer needs to turn your shoot into a good time. To create an atmosphere that supports you and encourages you to let your qualities shine.

When that happens, everything else falls into place...

You enjoy yourself. You relax. You let your guard down.

You get the shot.

I know all of this because I've been on both sides of the lens. It's how I started out in my creative life over a decade-and-a-half ago.

I knew what would have helped me. I knew how I wished the countless photoshoots would have played out. I knew what was missing.

You can walk away happy at the end of your headshot session.

Not only because you captured some great headshots, but because you feel confident. And (*gasp*) because you actually enjoyed yourself.

Get in touch now and let's get you that shot!
